Description of Practice or Services: I help businesses, large or small, accomplish their goals through negotiation, litigation or resolution of disputes, and by drafting agreements. I can help with business or personal contracts and real estate, including community association law, construction law, debtor/creditor disputes and debt collection, mechanic's lien matters and insurance litigation. I am the head of my firm's nine-lawyer Community Associations Representation Group and co-head of the Construction Litigation Group. I am familiar with Minn. Stat. Chap. 515B, the Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act (MCIOA) relating to townhome and condominium communities, and Minn. Stat. Chap. 327A statutory warranties and other laws relating to construction defect matters. I have been named to Minnesota Law & Politics Magazine's list of Rising Stars on numerous occasions and have been quoted in numerous online and print articles about issues relating to real estate, financing, construction litigation and community associations, including articles appearing in Yahoo! Finance, Bankrate.com, Minnesota Lawyer and HOALeader.com.
